‘Surround yourself with people who choose love, and the ALCHEMY of change is powerful.’ So interesting - yesterday I wrote my Substack for next Saturday and used the word ‘alchemy’ too. We have it in our power to create a precious life.

So true! When confronted with challenges I always remind myself that life is happening FOR me not TO me. We are always the stories we tell ourselves, we control the narrative. I loved waking up to read this today Ali, a profound and beautiful reminder. Thank you.

My goodness this resonated with me. A few years ago, everything seemed to be going wrong. I was a real slump and felt extremely hard done by. Then, I discovered it was actually me that was causing the sense of doom in my life and also a few people I had decided to associate with and was comparing myself against. Once I discovered this everything got a lot better. Brilliant post Ali.

Your beautiful words were read just moments after I had written a reply to my niece. Words of the impact of love and hard work to my niece after a story she posted.

To live with love as your guiding force does change your world. It adds all the joy and removes the conflict, it still exists but your approach to and the impact of diminishes and changes.

For me the choice was an example set early by my beloved grandmother. A most remarkable unremarkable woman who showered my families lives with the best examples of love and happiness and a positive approach to life. A woman that asked for little but had it all.

My personal inner strength has come from her wonderful example of setting love as your guiding force.

Thank you for your wise words 🤍

She was the best, we were very lucky. It’s only been in recent years that I’ve really felt the importance of the things she did by just being herself. My turn now to pass it forward. 🤍
